  • Inspected vehicle for transmission concern. Inspected fluid – full but fluid is dirty Checked for trouble codes on system – no codes. Inspected transmission for fluid leaks – no leaks all transmission linkage looks good Road tested again – no transmission present during road test. – Advise to service fluid due to poor fluid condition. Then have customer drive and advise if problems persist or not. Service fluid drain and fill 2 times 8 quarts of fluid used Note we did find some little particles of metal in on the transmission drain plug – transmission does have some internal wear issues and at some point will need to be replaced but servicing the fluid may help ..
