  • INSPECTED VERIFIED CONCERN . PULLED CODES P0605 AND P0335 – Communication code with pcm and crank sensor code. FOUND CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR HAVING INTERNAL FAULT-out of range – ALSO FOUND DIRTY THROTTLE BODY/MASS AIR FLOW SYSTEM. THIS IS WERE WE NEED TO START – THERE MAY BE MORE ISSUES . REPLACED CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR. CLEANED DIRTY THROTTLE BODY/MASS AIR FLOW SYSTEM CLEARED CODES – ROAD TESTED FOR ABOUT 15 MILES – OK . LET SIT OVERNIGHT STARTED UP – CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND IT WAS HARD TO START- TACHOMETER DROPPED OUT- PERFORMED ADDITIONAL DIAGNOSTICS. WE BELIEVE THE PCM IS AT FAULT – INTERMITTENT PROBLEM, THE CAR WILL START FINE AND TACHOMETER WILL WORK FINE AT TIMES – THEN AT OTHER TIMES IT WILL STOP WORKING. ADVISED THE CUSTOMER TO SEE DEALER FOR FURTHER DIAGNOSTICS AND POSSIBLE PCM REPLACE/REPROGRAMMING
  • Check cooling system to find and replace faulty radiator + cap and radiator hoses. Retested after repairs – No further leaks found at this time
